Hardware Identifier: A hashed identifier of your computer used solely for license validation. This cannot identify you personally.

Third-Party Services

Your settings, API keys, and preferences are stored locally on your computer. We do not have access to this data. License information is stored on our servers for validation purposes.

AI Analysis (Elite)

AI Analysis runs entirely on your local machine using your own LLM installation. No stock data or analysis is sent to external AI services. Your financial research stays private.

Terms of Service

License Grant

Moon Scanner grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software according to your subscription tier (Free, Pro, or Elite). This license is for personal or internal business use only.

Restrictions

You may not:

Redistribute, resell, or share your license key
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
Use the software for any illegal purpose
Attempt to circumvent license restrictions
Use automated systems to abuse data provider APIs

Moon Scanner is a research tool only. It aggregates publicly available financial data for informational purposes. Nothing in the software constitutes financial advice, investment recommendations, or trading signals. We are not registered investment advisors.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the software. No refunds are provided for termination due to violations.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

Refund Policy

Digital Product

Moon Scanner is a digital product with a free tier. We encourage you to fully evaluate the Free version before purchasing Pro or Elite.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

Within 7 days of purchase if you experience technical issues that prevent the software from functioning and we cannot resolve them
Duplicate charges or billing errors

Non-Refundable

Refunds are generally not provided for:

Change of mind after purchase
Failure to read feature descriptions before purchasing
Issues caused by your system not meeting requirements
Partial month usage after cancellation
Termination due to terms of service violations

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
